America’s premier actors’ studio, TVI, is presenting the “American Film Acting Intensive” in Sydney, Australia. This five-day workshop offers a select group of Aussie actors a unique opportunity to study the technique and the business of acting in America and the difference between auditioning for major motion pictures versus independent feature films. Participants will meet with prominent Los Angeles casting directors, Tineka Becker and Zora DeHorter.

The program starts in November and is approximately 30 hours of coursework. Students learn practical skills to make the transition into the working world in the States, whether it be in Los Angeles, California or New York City. 

Course content includes cold reading, scene work, and film audition technique.

Classes are taught by Tineka Becker from Burrows/Boland Casting and Zora DeHorter from DeHorter Casting. Some combined credits include prominent films directed by influential directors and starring name actors. Combined credits include: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Polar Express, Cast Away, King Kong, A Christmas Carol, and Ali G Indahouse. For more casting credits, see:
