BRITISH FOCUS

Train, showcase & network in London with UK Casting Directors, Talent Agents, Directors, Producers and prominent teachers from acclaimed British Drama Academies.

Total Immersion in the British style of acting and auditioning:

TVI Actors Studio, America’s foremost actors center, returns to London with its unique program that immerses the actor in the British style of auditioning and acting with London’s top industry professionals.  This year the program will have an even greater On-Camera Focus.

Curriculum:

Actors will gain practical information on how the entertainment industry functions in the UK and receive marketing and business tips to further your career.  Past instructors and panelists include guests from RADA, the Old Vic, BBC, Talkback ThamesTV, Royal Shakespeare Company, Simone Reynolds Casting, Finch & Partners, Conway, Van Gelder & Grant, Bloomfields Management, Lucinda Syson Casting, and Suzy Catliff Casting. Our dedicated faculty share their time, talent, and expert knowledge, teaching students how to improve their acting skills and providing valuable insider information.

Course work includes:

- On-Camera TV/Film Acting & Audition Technique

- Monologue Performance Preparation

- Scene Study

- Improvisational &Vocal Work

- Cold Reading Technique

- Commercial Audition Technique

- Showcases for British Talent Agents and Managers

- Industry panels

This program has a truly international flair with students participating from around the world.  Only 28 actors will be selected.  Actors will experience an in-depth approach to performance, acting for the camera and career strategy.
